"Kairaasi" refers to the luck or fortune that is present in a person's hand and it is considered auspicious & healing when something is taken from that person. Anyone who receives a gift will appreciate or value it more especially if it is handmade. It is a simple reflection of their thoughts for them. India as a country has diverse art forms including handmade crafts, hand-looms, sculptures, etc .But these art forms are slowly deteriorating due to globalization and mind shift changes of people towards “in trend" goods.
At Kairaasi ,we help encourage these slowly fading artisans and craftsmen to confidently run their business by acting as a mere channel to make their art tell a story to different parts of the world. We as a company understand how important it is to preserve art and culture amidst global entrants. We focus towards giving a better life to local artists and help promote, appreciate their products worldwide.
Don't tell a story to your child holding an antique handicraft starting with "those were the days!" Be the person who helps these artisans and craftsmen to be an existing story of our art and culture!
Our Own Brand
For several years, we have been collecting and promoting high-quality hand loom cloth and hand made crafts from highly skilled weavers, artisans or co-operative societies across India, some of whom have become reliable partners over time. (However, it often proved simply impossible to get our customers everything they wanted (the same design, quality). So Kairaasi has very recently decided to develop its own, flexible product range in order to preserve the interest and to encourage next generations the beautiful arts and the ever rich traditions).
Kairaasi stands for the supply of highest quality, eco-friendly and stylish, handmade designed products. Our comprehensive works begin with knowing our customers and understanding their needs then an intensive collaboration with our artisans and encouraging customers. (We develop the products in our own facilities / manufactures at home / facilities of artisans / co-operative societies, with Kairaasi being responsible for the final result).
