PP Woven Silt Fence FABRIC

Silt fence is manufactured from polypropylene UV resistant tapes. Silt fences are perimeter controls, typically used in combination with (properly designed) sediment basins and sediment traps, as well as erosion controls, which are designed to retain sediment in place where soil is being disturbed by construction processes. A silt fence is a temporary sediment control device used on construction sites to protect water quality in nearby streams, rivers, lakes and bays. A typical fence consists of a piece of synthetic filter fabric (also called a geotextile) stretched between a series of wooden or metal stakes and helps to keep the environment as clean as possible.

Regular widths are 24, 36, 48 can availability of circular as well as Sulzer looms and guarantee no frying on the selvedges.

Application where Geo-Textile used:
  • SeparationActs as a separator between two layers of soil in road construction and rail works. We can provide fabrics with high strength, high puncture resistance and elongation features required for road and rail works.
  • Erosion ControlAvoids erosion of soil on slopes, hills. Prevent form heavy rainfall, Floods and keeping the area rich in soil.

We weave and trade the highest quality technical fabrics available on the market. Produced according to ISO9002, our heavy duty FIBC is woven on Sulzer machines or circular looms, allowing the production of top-performance fabrics. Our light circular fabric is rolled tightly, with minimal weaving errors. We can also supply innovative ultrasonic selvedges as an economical replacement for Sulzer fabrics. PP woven fabrics Mostly used for Packaging, Sheltering and Covering of products available in Tubular/ Circular form and Flat form.

Polypropylene Woven Fabric

  • GSM 120 to 375 GSM
  • Width As standard widths e.g. 105, 210, 330, 420, 520 or as per requirement.

Geotextile is a high strength polypropylene woven fabric produced from high tenacity tapes. They are specially designed to be used as a construction material and must have the following functions: separation, filtration, reinforcement, protection and drainage

A geotextile is defined as any permeable textile material that is used with foundation, soil, rock, earth, etc. to increase stability and decrease wind and water erosion. A geotextile may be made of synthetic or natural fibers. A geotextile is designed to be permeable to allow the flow of fluids through it or in it.

Geotextiles can be woven, knitted or non-woven. Different fabric composition and construction are suitable for different applications. These geotextiles provide planar water flow in addition to stabilization of soil. Typical applications include access roads, aggregate drains and erosion control.

Geotextiles and related products have many applications and currently support many civil engineering applications including roads, airfields, railroads, embankments, retaining structures, reservoirs, canals, dams, bank protection, coastal engineering and construction site silt fences or geo-tube. Usually geotextiles are placed at the tension surface to strengthen the soil.

Application where Geo-Textile used:
  • 1. Drainage
  • 2. Permanent Erosion Control
  • 3. Temporary Erosion Control
  • 4. Roadway Separation
  • 5. Roadway
  • 6. Liner Protection
  • 7. Steepened Slopes
  • 8. Landfill Drainage Systems
  • 9. Gas Venting
  • 10. Retaining Walls
  • 11. Lagoon Closures
  • 12. Embankments Over Soft Soil
