Turmeric is the dried root of curcuma honga and has a brown spin and bright arrange flesh. There are two types of whole Turmeric 1) Finger and 2) Gatta. Turmeric is grown in India, Burma Bangladesh. India is the largest producer and exporter of turmeric.
