Our product range contains a wide range of Heavy Hex Nuts and Hex Lock Nuts
Heavy hex nuts are slightly larger and thicker than standard (finished) hex nuts. There are numerous grades and the heavy pattern is typically used for large diameter and high strength bolts.
APPLICATIONS
Lock Nuts are used for locking purpose. A thin lock nut that is assembled with a regular nut to lock both nuts in place. The lock nut provides extra resistance that helps prevent loosening.
APPLICATIONS
If one or more of the connected objects vibrates, for example, those vibrations may knock the nut loose. Some nuts, however, are designed to protect vibration-related loosening. Known as lock nuts.
