Hex Lock Nuts

Lock Nuts are used for locking purpose. A thin lock nut that is assembled with a regular nut to lock both nuts in place. The lock nut provides extra resistance that helps prevent loosening.   APPLICATIONS If one or more of the connected objects vibrates, for example, those vibrations may knock the nut loose. Some nuts, however, are designed to protect vibration-related loosening. Known as lock nuts.
