Methods for handling hose
To achieve best service life of concrete end hose, the handling and after usage maintenance is very important. After usage the concrete end hose shall be cleaned and washed properly to avoid blockages or residue formed inside during concrete discharge. The hose has to be stored under an enclosed area and it shall not be directly exposed to sunlight. The hose should be placed in straight not to be stored in bending position to avoid permanent stress at bending radius. Physical handling during shipment is very important. It is observed in many cases that mishandling resulted in damages of end fittings and failure of hoses. Thus the concrete end hose shall be handled smoothly during shipment and storage
