Getting a glass of the desired shape is no magic but science. The simple flat glass is heated to a point when it becomes red hot, then it is given the desired shape, and lastly, it is tempered by cooling to trap the high energy within the glass. The result is the bent tempered glass that has strength much higher as compared with the annealed glass of the similar thickness. If the bent glass breaks, then it splits into countless fragments which are very small and are cube-like in shape.
