Our offered Product range includes SHEAR CONNECTORS/SHEAR STUDS and PUNCHING SHEAR RESISTANT (PSR) STUDS.
Shear connectors or Concrete Anchors, are used in Steel-Concrete composite structures. They act as reinforcing anchors, locking the supporting structure to the concrete floor.
We manufacture Shear Connectors/Studs sizes starting from 9.5 mm to 25 mm Dia, in different lengths max 300mm. We are producing Shear Connectors as per following Standards:
Shear Connectors are available for welding to flat surfaces, inside angles and out side angles. Suitable ceramic ferrules will be supplied for above mentioned welding applications.
Punching Shear Resistant Studs or PSR Studs are a reinforcing studs welding to rails, and used around columns on traditional formwork constructed buildings. They are used to reduce the likelihood of Punching Shear forces, or the desire for the column to punch its way thru the slab due to the floor loading.
Punching Shear Resistant Studs can reduce the need for heavy reinforcing bars around these high stress areas, and can remove the need for a 'Capital' altogether. (A capital is a large usually square, section of thickened floor around the column.
