Working Principle :

• A ballpoint travels on the wet film at a constant speed. This ballpoint leaves the traveling path on the film
• This speed is proportional to time piece (watch) mechanism
• When the coating of film starts drying, it becomes hard slowly
• At this junction the ballpoint get lifted above the dry film and shows the rubbing path on film
• After completion of one circle of ballpoint observe the path. Mark the starting point and the point of rubbing action, which indicate the drying point

Different Least counts :

• For a model having one revolution 12 minutes the least count would be 1 division (natural 1 min) mark on gauge i.e. 12 second
• For a model having one revolution of 6 hours the least count would be of 1 division (natural 1 min) mark gauge i.e. 6 min
