Interior Inspection LampAn interior inspection light is fixed inside the interior chamber.
Water / Rain Spray NozzlesWater / Rain spray nozzles will be provided as per standard JSS 55555 to give the water/rain rate of 4 to 10 mm/minute. Four nos. of nozzles at the top Four Corners included 45° and four nos. nozzles in the centre of each four sides. The distance of the nozzles can be adjusted from the test specimen if required.
Pressure Gauges Separate pressure gauge will be provided for each spray nozzle, for indicating the pressure of the nozzles at the nozzles. The pressure gauges will be mounted on the panel and equivalent length of copper tubing which run to the nozzle end and the gauges will be calibrated accordingly.
ChamberThe chamber will be provided with a cylinder in the centre with 8 nos. of sockets, which will be connected to the nozzle. The cylinder will be fed through a suitable pump to create the sufficient pressure with by-pass valve and the main valves will control the pressure in the cylinder which in turn controls the pressure at the nozzle tips. All the connections will be provided with compression fitting for leak proofing. The same water will be recirculated.
Control Panel & WiringAt the right hand side or at the Top of the Chamber, a control panel will be fixed with all the controls, switches, fuses, contactor assemblies and indicating lamps etc. All the channel type wiring will be as per IS Code for suitable current rated copper wires.

ConstructionThis is double walled cabinet insulated with 125mm thick puff / fiber glass insulation between interior and exterior walls. Outer chamber made of Mild Steel/Stainless Steel and painted in Epoxy Powder coating in different color. The inner chamber shall be made of Stainless Steel 304 grade. Outer double walled metal door with GASKET and lock & key. The chamber will have strong base for fitting your fixture. This chamber shall be supplied with PID temperature controller. It will incorporate one compressor/double compressor cascade with all its protective devices along with two fan cooled condensing coil just below the working chamber. This chamber will have air circulating fan from the back of the cabinet. The chamber will have 3” diameter hole from one/both side for feeding cables. The updated models of Salt/Cass Fog Test Chamber specially designed for evaluating the corrosion resistance of the surface treatment of metallic materials by Copper Accelerated Acetic Acid Salt Spray Test Method. It consists of following parts.
Test Chamber :It consists of Cabinet and Lid and is constructed with insulated double structure made of FRP Moulded Sheet. The upper part (triangular shaped lid made of FRP with acrylic glass window) has sufficient space for the mist to accumulate naturally on it and is so shaped that drops so accumulated do not fall on specimen being tested.
Air-Saturator :It is provided to supply heated and humidified clean air, over 90% RH, for Atomization of the solution. It consists of Body (made of stainless steel), Heater, Bubbling Nozzle, Air Cleaner & Pressure Regulator.
Air Regulator :The Air Regulator will maintain a constant pressure of Air at 70 to 170 Kpa.
Air Filter :The compressed air will be passed through a Filter Arrangement to remove all traces of oil and solid matters before sent to the saturation tower.
Lid Sealing :Lid Sealing through Water Seal Method.
Mist Dispersion Atomizer :Atomizer made of Acrylic Glass will be equipped in the Chamber having property of non-choking. It produces a mist of atomized solution, which is distributed uniformly throughout the exposure zone by means of Mist Dispersion Atomizer incorporated with a baffle to prevent dispersion of large liquid droplets. Compressed Air and Gravity Process will help for creation Fog through Atomizer.
Heating System :The Temperature within the Chamber maintained by Heater with Blower System, which provided in-between the Exterior and Interior walls.
Solution Supply Tank :Solution Supply Tank will be provided to supply solution to Mist Dispersion Tower and will be made of FRP Moulded Sheet.
Mist Collector :Two Mist Cylinders are provided for measurement mist quantity. Each has 80 cm² of horizontal area. The condensate is collected in individual graduated cylinders.
pH Indicator :pH Indicator is inbuilt in Control Panel.
Control Panel :Separate Control Panel will be provided located on the Trolley.
