This is an easy to use digital soil moisture sensor. Just insert the sensor in the soil and it can can measure moisture or water level content in it. It gives a digital output of 5V when moisture level is high and 0V when the moisture level is low in the soil.
The sensor includes a potentiometer to set the desired moisture threshold. When the sensor measures more moisture than the set threshold, the digital output goes high and an LED indicates the output. When the moisture in the soil is less thatn the set threshold, the output remains low. The digital output can be connected to a micro controller to sense the moisture level. The sensor also outputs an analog output which can be connected to the ADC of a micro controller to get the exact moisture level in the soild.
The double ring infiltrometer is a simple instrument that is used to determine the rate of infiltration of water into the soil. The rate of infiltration is determined as the amount of water per surface area and time unit, that penetrates the soil.
This standard double ring infiltrometer set is used for synchronous measurements in triplicate.
The measurement of water infiltration into the soil is an important indication for the efficiency of irrigation and drainage, optimising the availability of water for plants, improving crop yield and minimising erosion.
The double ring infiltrometer is a simple instrument used to determine the infiltration rate of water into the soil. The infiltration rate is determined as the amount of water per unit area and unit time that penetrates the soil. This rate can be calculated from the measurement results and Darcy's Law.
The standard set of the double ring infiltrometer consists of several sets of stainless steel rings with different diameters (for transport reasons). Since vertically infiltrated water flows away to the sides, the outer ring of the infiltrometer serves as a barrier. Measurements are only taken in the inner ring through which the water flows almost vertically.

Self-recording rain gauge (SRRG) is an automatic device used to record a continuous rainfall for 24 hrs on a daily chart, if rain occurs.
The characteristics of rainfall events viz. onset and cessation of rainfall, duration of rainfall, intensity of rainfall and the total amount of rainfall in mm can be obtained from the rainfall chart.

A Rain gauge is a device to measure liquid rainfall amount and intensity. The device is composed of a rain collector cone and a double-chamber tipping bucket connected to a magnet. The magnet operates one reed switch, which generates im-pulses that can be counted by external meters. Siphon versions (DQA230.1-231.1-230.3) are equipped with a siphon placed on the cone’s nozzle; it has function during heavy rain, to regulate the flow into the bascule permitting all the water to fall inside the tipping bucket. This solution gives its best results where the main need is the measurement of the total amount of rain over long periods.
Class A rain gauges versions (DQA230-231-235-236) have the “Class A” class accuracy as described by the UNI EN 17277:2020 standard. It is the most accurate class for intensity measurement. For the Class A accuracy achievement, a cor-rection formula on the data acquisition system is required.
