(JPPL) that has been in business more than 2 and half decades. JPPL that has been involved in many major projects including the construction of India's first Metro Rail in Kolkata, the American Centre in Kolkata, Garden Reach water works & several highways.

In 2003 JPPL diversified into iron ore industry. Initially the company was involved in trading, but within 3 years JPPL started its own exports division. Today, JPPL ships around 2-3 consignments every months & its turnover has touched Rs. 100 crores in 2010-11.
