We manufacture rigid uPVC pipes as per IS: 4985 : 2000. These pipes are recommended for water temperature up to 45C. All the PVC pipes are subjected to different tests as laid down in BIS Standards. These pipes are available in the range of 63mm to 250mm in 4 to 10 kg/cm2 working pressure.

constructional details

• shaft : the shaft is made of stainless steel as per is:6603 accurately ground finished to close tolerances to ensure long life of bearings.
• mechanical seal : rotary seal of high precision having fine lapped surface is used. Its spring-loaded carbon face seals the stationary ceramic face for effective sealing against water leakage.
• motor frame : high tensile cast iron and is totally enclosed fan type. Cooling ribs are provided to facilitate heat dissipation to keep the body cool.
• rotor : die cast dynamically balanced rotor for vibration free noiseless running.
• windings : enamelled copper wire with insulation class b.
• ball bearings : heavy duty double sealed ball bearings fitted to ensure longer life.

KALSI Openwell Submersible Pumpsets are horizontal, single-stage energy efficiency Centrifugal Pumpsets ideally suitable for openwells or water tanks. These pumpsets are used for pumping clean, clear cold water without solid particles or abrasives. These are manufactured under stringent quality control at all stages to ensure a trouble-free service. The pumpsets are ISI marked conforming to IS:14220 and are Star- labelled by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (B.E.E.) ensuring energy saving. The pumpsets have water filled, water-cooled continuous run motors.As the pumpsets are immersed in water at the bottom of water tank, hence there is no priming problem.

Constructional Details

• Stator : Powder coated for corrosion resistance. To protect windings, thick end laminations are provided.
• Rotor : Powder coated, suitably baked for corrosion resistance under water, dynamically balanced for vibration-free smooth operation.
• Motor body : FG 200 grade C.I. Casting.
• Windings : High dielectric PVC/Polyester insulated, water cooled as per IS: 8783 (Part 4/Sec. 1 & 3)
• Impeller : Cast iron as per FG 200 Grade of IS:210, Dynamically balanced.
• Shaft : Hard, annealed Stainless stell shaft of adequate diameter to ensure rigidity ground.
• Bearings : Leaded bronze / Nitrile Rubber water lubricated bushes, having high load bearing capacity.
• Thrust bearings : Special heat-treated segments are water lubricated to withstand high axial thrust load under adverse conditions.
• Breather : Optimum size to compensate the volumetric variation of water inside diaphragm the motor due to change in temperature.
• Suction casing : Cast iron as per FG 200 grade of IS:210.
• Casing Wear rings : High quality abrasion resistant Nitrial rubber.
• Cable Sealing : Cable glands, rubber seal and sand guard are provided to protect the arrangement motor, from ingress of borewell water and other foreign matter.

These motors are tested to strict quality control for routine and Type tests at every stage of production and are ideally suitable for various industrial applications.

Constructional Details

• MOTOR FRAME : Motor frame is made from robust cast iron of high tensile strengh with integral feet and is totally enclosed fan cooled type. Cooling ribs are provided on all faces to ensure equal dissipation of heat.
• STANDARDS : Performance characteristics of Three Phase motors conform to IS 12615 : 2011. The foot-mounted motors have standard dimensions as per IS : 1231 while dimensions of flange-type motors conform to IS : 2223.
• VOLTAGE AND FREQUENCY : Three-phase motors are designed for 415V 10%, 50 Hz 3%, A.C. Supply, Duty S1.
• PROTECTION : Motors have IP 44 degree of protection and confirm to IS : IEC 60034-5. Motors having IP 55 degree of protection are also available on demand.
• RATING : Motors are rated for continuous duty S1 with an ambient temperature of 40C and altitude up to 1000m above mean sea-level.
• STATOR : Induction type stators built of hydraulically compressed high silicon steel insulated laminations, rigidly cleated, wound with super enamelled copper wire, impregnated with best quality stoving vanish and provided with high class insulating materials.
• ROTOR : The motors are provided with high-pressure aluminium die-cast rotors to ensure improved reliability. All rotors are dynamically balanced on dynamic balancing machines for vibration and noise-free running.
• TERMINAL BOX : Standard motors are provided with terminal box positioned at right-hand side when looking at the driving end. Terminal box is of adequate size for easy connection & maintenance.
• INSULATION : The motors have Class B insulation. Motors of insulation Class F also available on demand.
• COOLING & VENTILATION : Type of cooling is IC41 as per IS: IEC 60034-6. All motors have external fans for cooling, ensuring dissipation of heat.
• TESTING : All electric motors are tested for electrical and mechanical tests at intermediate and final stages of production as per Scheme of Testing and Inspection for relevant B.I.S. Standard.
