Uses

• Often, carbon level is most important in determining the price differential between the various Ferro Chrome grades.
• Low Carbon Chrome is added mostly for final chemistry adjustments in the production of stainless steel.
• Nitrogen-bearing low carbon ferrochrome provides a simple means of making a nitrogen addition to chromium bearing steels, particularly conventionally melted stainless grades.
• These grades of stainless can also be produced economically with elemental N2 in the AOD.

Uses:

• Used in manufacturing of tool steels, alloys steel & structural steels.
• Low Carbon Ferro Manganese is used as a deoxidizer and hence finds its usage in the manufacture of 18-8 Austenitic non magnetic stainless steel.

• Composed with high manganese content, this alloy is be used in blast furnace and electric arc furnace to deoxidize steel.
• Ferro Manganese High Carbon is widely used in the industries for extracting manganese from its ore
• It is also used in production of steel

• Also used in Engineering Steels such as bearing, tool, high strength/low alloy and high speed steels, pumps, valves, pipes, rolls and wear plates.

Uses:

• Niobium is a shiny ductile metal with a white luster, which takes a bluish tinge when exposed to air at room temperature.
• It has many similarities to tantalum and both are often found in niobium minerals.
• The primary mineral from which niobium is obtained is known as pyrochlore.
