Depending on the application different tube diameters and different tube Sheath materials are available. Heating of air requires an oxidized tube surface. INSULATION TECH Power Saving Heater

The standard ceramic insulated band has been, and continues to be the only barrel heater having built-in thermal insulation. In what went before, machine manufacturers have chosen to use the heater because of several advantages, but infrequently for its heat conserving qualities.The existing energy situation (in which the plastic processor must bare the inflated costs) is the reason for the development of the INSULATION TECH Power saving heater. MATRUSREEs INSULATION TECH power Saving Heaters are Specifically designed and engineered to meet the ever increasing demand for energy conservation and to improve operation efficiency capable of generating higher temperature essential to process today's high temperature resins.

Construction:

The "INSULATION TECH" Power saving heater consists of the standard ceramic band components and Specially Constructed insulation chamber with Reflector, all of which are enclosed in a SS Perforated Heat Sink Casing. The Special internal construction dramatically reduces power consumption up to 30%, in comparison to all other non-insulated band heaters. While the internal Steel Casing with high thermal conductivity guarantees maximum heat transmission to the plastification Cylinders.We invite you to test run one of your injection machines with its present heater bands, recording the KWH used. Then, fit the same machine with "INSULATION TECH" Power Saving heaters and run it under identical conditions. In every case the savings realized will read out prompt conversion of all machine to "INSULATION TECH" or at least the phasing out of all other barrel heaters during routine maintenance.

MATRUSREEs Duct Heaters are constructed out of variety of tubular Heater combinations & inner mountings. While Duct heaters are easily adaptable to many non-pressurized, air-heating systems, they also offer several advantages over gas or oil fired and open coil electric heating units.

Tubular Heaters in Incoloy Sheathing protects it from corrosive environments (optional).The finned tubular element design is the most popular. It incorporates the highest wattage per cross sectional duct area thus making it more economical than the (non-finned) tubular design.
