– L100 is based on SL Polymers and supplied as a brown liquid instantly dispersible in water. MYCRO-SP-L100 has been specially formulated to give high water reductions without loss of workability or to produce high quality concrete of reduced permeability.

MYCRO-SP-L100 Superplasticizers are chemical additives that improve concrete's fluidity by reducing the amount of water needed. They are surfactants and they confer Negative Charge on individual Cement particles such that they are kept in a more Dispersed or Suspended state due to interparticle repulsion hence accounting for the Mobility of the particles. They work by reducing the surface tension between water and cement particles, which causes the particles to form a less open structure. This structure requires less water to fill spaces, which increases the strength of the concrete.

Features of MYCRO-SP-L100 Superplasticizer Compounds:

Improve workability: MSP-L100 allow for a reduced water-to-cement ratio without

sacrificing workability.

Increase strength: It reduce the water-to-cement ratio, which increases the strength

of the concrete.

Method of Application

The optimum dosage is best determined by site trials with the concrete mix which enables the effects of workability, strength gain or cement reduction to be measured. Site trials with MSP-L100 should always be compared with mix containing no admixture. As a guide, a dosage range of 0.6 to 1.4% weight of cement is normally recommended. An over dose of double the recommended amount of MSP-L100 will result in very high workability and may cause extension of initial and final setting times. However, the ultimate compressive strength will not be impaired.
