PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION :

The machine operates by hydraulic transmission of load from the test specimen to a separately housed load indicator. The ones which are prone to wear and damage due to shock on rupture of test pieces are replaced by the transmission of load through levers and knife-edges. Hydrostatically lubricated piston applies the load. A main cylinder pressure is transmitted in the control panel to the pressure cell housed that directly converts pressure into load. KN shows absolute load applied on the test specimen digitally and rotary encoder shows displacement to display load in electronic panel.
