Sweet Water Treatment Plant:
- The feed sweet water is obtained from the fat splitting plant. The SW received in off-site tanks is a clear liquid and it contains some fatty matter. The facility provided for treatment is capable of employing two steps of treatment.
- Vertical cylindrical vessels with conical bottoms are provided for treatment purpose. Various kinds of treatment can be utilized. However, the treatment is employed mainly for removal of fatty matter.
Sweet water concentration plant:
- SW Concentration Plant is essentially multiple effect evaporation system operating under vacuum. The vacuum system is a package unit based on steam jet ejector. Thermocompressor is employed for energy efficiency.
- Each effect consists of an evaporator (heat exchanger), vaporization chamber and, a droplet separator.
- The concentrated glycerine (crude glycerine) is transferred to battery limit under temperature control.
