Agarwood Spent-wood are the chips which are left after extraction of oil from Agarwood by steam distillation. After extracting the oil from the Agarwood chips by distillation, the Agarwood chips are dried and then supplied to incense making industries.

While these Agarwood chips may not have much oil left, the aroma when burned is sweet and spicy. With a beautifully layered grounding subtle aroma , the spent chips are perfect for incense making or burning. It is used in making of Incense sticks (Agarbatti , Bakhoor) , mosquito repellent coils and Joss sticks.

Agarwood de-oiled spent-wood is a by-product obtained after the extraction of Agarwood oil from Agarwood chips. These are the products of Agarwood oil distillation process. These after distilled Agarwood chips are called Agarwood Spent-wood Rough.

These Oud Spent-woods are sometimes dipped in other fragrance oil and dried to be used as incense sticks for burning. Up-cycling spent wood is a sustainable practice, reducing waste and adding value to Agarwood operations.
