Agarwood - The Wood of Gods, is also known as Oud or Oudh , is an aromatic essential oil distilled from the resinous, dark heartwood of the Aquilaria tree. It is historically being used in perfumery, incense making, traditional medicine, and spiritual rituals.
We at Neela Pahar Harvest produce pure Agarwood oil of the highest quality. With a strong aroma and richness, we offer Pure , Natural and Authentic Hindi Agarwood Oil extracted by steam distillation from Agarwood trees grown in parts of Assam and Northeast India.
Oud oil is known for its complex and captivating fragrance, described as woody, earthy, and slightly sweet, with notes of amber and musk. Due to its rarity and the time-consuming extraction process, oud oil is considered one of the most expensive natural fragrance ingredients in the world.
Oudh oil has been used for centuries in traditional medicine, perfumery, and religious practices in many cultures, particularly in the Middle East and South Asia. It is a key ingredient in perfumes, incense, and other aromatic products. It is also used in aromatherapy for its calming and grounding properties. Due to its potential moisturising, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties, Oud oil is gaining demand in cosmetic uses.
Some common names of Agarwood are Xasi (Assamese) , Aguru(Sanskrit) , Oud or Oudh(Arabic), Gaharu, Agarwood, Aloeswood, Eaglewood, Gharuwood
