Maize usages are many such as in food it is used for Flour, Syrup, grain and oil while non-food usages are in adhesives, paints, varnishes and cosmetics. Starch and oil is also its derivatives.
There are many by-products of the maize like bran, germs, oil meal and hominy feed. The starch such as corn gluten feed, and corn meal is also produced. Alcohol or biofuel is also extracted through distillers and dried grains, soluble can be fed to the animals.
The thick outer hull of the oat has been removed and the slender in size oat groat has been stabilized for human consumption. Oats can be milled in a variety of forms that include oat flour, regular oats, quick oats, and thick oats. Oat flour should be combined with other strong gluten content flours to provide structure, texture and flavor in bread making. Possessing a nutty, light, sweet flavor, oats make a tasty and flavorful ingredient for oatmeal, porridge, cookies, scones, quickbreads and granola. Oats are a good source of protein, dietary fiber, thiamin, phosphorus, and manganese.

Whole barley is a diverse grain that in its unprocessed form is primarily used in sprouting applications. A good source of protein, dietary fibers, thiamin, magnesium and manganese, whole barley has a tough outer hull that must be removed prior to processing into usage, unless sprouting or malting.

the quinoa seed is high in protein, calcium, magnesium, potassium and iron, a relatively good source of vitamin e and several of the b vitamins. It is famous because it contains a perfect balance of all eight essential amino acids needed for tissue development in humans. The protein quality and quantity in quinoa is superior to those of more common cereal and it is higher in lysine than wheat.
