Flat Belt

Elastic Flat Belts:
  • These Belts are manufactured from Silicone, EPDM, Urethane, Chloroprene, Hypalon, natural rubber or polyurethane. They do not have fabric reinforcement and are most often used on fixed center drives. This have many advantages over reinforced flat belts, including fast turnaround samples with minimal tooling expense, reduced system cost by eliminating the need for expensive tensioning systems, antistatic constructions to reduced static build up, as well as long life constructions.
Semi-Stretch Fabric Reinforced Flat Belts:
  • These Belts are manufactured from Chloroprene rubber and are normally reinforced with light duty woven polyester fabrics. These flat belts also are used on fixed center drives.
Stable Yarn Reinforced Flat Belts:
  • These Belts are manufactured from polyurethane elastomers reinforced with various types of yarn including, Kevlar, polyester and glass. This style of flat belt is also normally used on adjustable center drives fitted with tensioning mechanisms.
Stable Fabric Reinforced Flat Belts:
  • These Belts are manufactured from Chloroprene & Silicone rubber and are reinforced with various types of woven fabric including glass, Kevlar, nylon, polyester, cotton, Nomex and polyester/cotton blend. These flat belts are normally used on adjustable center drives fitted with tensioning mechanisms.

Variable Speed Belt

Variable-Speed Belts provide top performance on variable speed drives. The belt adjusts itself automatically to the pulley groove providing a wide range of speeds and speed ratios. Variable-Speed belts have a distinct shape as their belt top widths are usually greater than their thickness. This permits a greater range of speed ratios than standard belts. Usually cogged or notched on the underside, these belts are specified for use on variable speed sheave drives requiring exact speed control and maximum range of speed changes. They are specially constructed for flexibility and low heat build up, resulting in high power transmission and long belt life. Super-Speed Belts are available both in plain and cogged in any length and angle as per order.
