Application:

Underpacking for control of the pressure for ink transfer and to compensate for different thicknesses between the printing blanket and the printing plate. Underpacking Sheets are fitted in the gap between the blanket / plate and the blanket / plate cylinder.

    • Non-compressible material to facilitate accurate measurement of the thickness required. All rolls and sheets are printed with thickness in microns.

    • Durable, stable shape, anti-static properties and water resistant.

    • Protects the cylinder against corrosion due to reduced capillary action of liquids between packing and cylinder.

  • Use of a single self adhesive Polyester Underpacking sheet will help to avoid blanket movement during printing - especially beneficial on high speed sheet fed and web offset presses.
