**Amoxicillin 500 mg & Clavulanate Potassium 125 mg Tablets**
This combination medication contains two active ingredients: **Amoxicillin** (500 mg) and **Clavulanate Potassium** (125 mg). Amoxicillin is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that works by inhibiting the growth of bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial cell wall. Clavulanate Potassium, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, prevents bacteria from breaking down Amoxicillin, making the antibiotic more effective against certain resistant strains of bacteria.
**Indications:**
