800 Deluge Valve

Valve Functions

Valve closes when air/hyd./electrical pressure, signal is applied to the cover of control. Valve opens when air/hyd./electrical pressure is relieved from the cover of control. Manual by-pass allows manual opening of the valve. The Nu-Tech ACV 800 deluge valve meets all requirements for Indian listed, fire protection service. Valve opens on demand to provide water flow to the fire protection sprinkler system. Pilot system can be hydraulically, pneumatically/electrical signal or manually operated. Opening of valve is by loss of control pressure or by manual opening.

Std packing multiple V-teflon packing. combined with live loading, maintains packing compression under high-cycle and severe service applications. Graphite packing is used for high-temperature situation.



BPS

Blow-out proof stem A pressure-safe stem shoulder design that protects against failure under excess pressure.



FS

Fire safe designed to API607 or BS 6755 to grant their operation suitability in case of fire. Secondary metal-to- metal seal acts as backup if primary seal is destroyed by fire. Valves ordered for compliance with API607 will be provided with graphite packing and gaskets.

  • Bubble-tight closer to set pressure :Series 201 valves operate bubble tight at higher pressure to set pressure ratios, allowing operators to run very close to the system's maximum allowable working pressure. While protecting the system from over pressure, series 201 allows maximum product through put, increased system profitability and reduced fugitive emissions.




  • Set pressure and blowdown set at pilot control valve :In line service, settings and blowdown adjustments are completed quickly and easily without main valve intrusion. Subsequent reduction in product loss and fugitive emissions add to system profitability.

800 Deluge Valve

Valve Functions

Valve closes when air/hyd./electrical pressure, signal is applied to the cover of control. Valve opens when air/hyd./electrical pressure is relieved from the cover of control. Manual by-pass allows manual opening of the valve. The Nu-Tech ACV 800 deluge valve meets all requirements for Indian listed, fire protection service. Valve opens on demand to provide water flow to the fire protection sprinkler system. Pilot system can be hydraulically, pneumatically/electrical signal or manually operated. Opening of valve is by loss of control pressure or by manual opening.

Blow-out proof stem A pressure-safe stem shoulder design that protects against failure under excess pressure.

FS

Fire safe designed to API607 or BS 6755 to grant their operation suitability in case of fire. Secondary metal-to- metal seal acts as backup if primary seal is destroyed by fire. Valves ordered for compliance with API607 will be provided with graphite packing and gaskets.

  • Bubble-tight closer to set pressure :Series 201 valves operate bubble tight at higher pressure to set pressure ratios, allowing operators to run very close to the system's maximum allowable working pressure. While protecting the system from over pressure, series 201 allows maximum product through put, increased system profitability and reduced fugitive emissions.

  • Set pressure and blowdown set at pilot control valve :In line service, settings and blowdown adjustments are completed quickly and easily without main valve intrusion. Subsequent reduction in product loss and fugitive emissions add to system profitability.

  • Typical application :The PSV 201 series pilot operated valves are built in conformance to section VIII of the ASME boiler and pressure vessel code for air, gas, vapor and liquid service.
