Titanium Tantalum Products

We are a celebrated exporter and supplier of Titanium Tantalum Products based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. These products have a good thermal conductivity and resistance to corrosion. Tantalum is a shiny silvery metal with a soft texture when pure. Some of the uses of these products are in the manufacture of aircraft engines, electrical devices such as capacitors, surgical implants. We offer these products in the form of sheets, wires or rods.

Details :

  • Tantalum Products is corrosion resistant and has good thermal conductivity. Some of its uses is heating elementsTantalum Wire is corrosion resistant and has good thermal conductivity.
  • Some of its uses is in the suppling of heating elements, vacuum tubes and other high temperature parts.
  • These are commonly used in various industrial applications due to its striking features.Tantalum is a shiny, silvery metal which is soft when is pure.
  • It is almost immune to chemical attack at temperatures below 150 C. Tantalum is virtually resistant to corrosion due to an oxide film on its surface.

Uses : High-temperature applications, such as aircraft engines; electrical devices, such as capacitors; surgical implants and handling corrosive chemicals. It is rarely used as an alloying agent because it tends to make metals brittle. Tantalum resist corrosion and is almost impervious to chemical attack, for this reason it has been employed in chemical industry., vacuum tubes and other high temperature parts.

Nitronic Alloy

We are a popular exporter and supplier of Nitronic Alloy based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This alloy is a high strength and good corrosion resistant austenitic stainless steel. This alloy is able to maintain its strength even under the most extreme temperatures and is much preferred for use in pharmaceuticals, food and chemical industries. We stock this alloy in different forms, grades and specifications as might be required by the customer.

Details :

  • Nitronic 50 is a high strength and good corrosion resistant austenitic stainless steel. It has nearly double the yield strength of 304 and 316 stainless steel and has better corrosion resistance than 317L stainless steel.
  • N50 Stainless remains non-magnetic even after being severely cold worked. It maintains strength at high temperatures as well as sub-zero temperatures Nitronic 60 is known for its excellent galling resistance, even at elevated temperatures.
  • The additions of 4% silicon and 8% manganese inhibit wear, galling, and fretting. It is commonly used for various fasteners and pins that require strength and resistance to galling. It maintains decent strength up to temperatures of 1800oF and has oxidation resistance similar to that of 309 stainless steel.
  • The general corrosion resistance is between that of 304 and 316 stainless steelAlloy 20, also known as Carpenter 20, is a nickel-iron-chromium austenitic alloy that was developed for maximum resistance to acid attack, specifically sulfuric acid.
  • This superalloy has excellent resistance to general corrosion, pitting, and crevice corrosion in chemicals containing chlorides and sulfuric, phosphoric, and nitric acids. It also contains niobium for stabilization against sensitization and resultant intergranular corrosion. Carpenter 20 combines excellent corrosion resistance with elevated mechanical properties and relatively easy fabrication.
  • Although originally designed for use in sulfuric acid related industries, Alloy 20 is now a popular choice for a wide variety of industries including the chemical, food, pharmaceutical, and plastics industries.
  • In addition, this superalloy is used in heat exchangers, mixing tanks, metal cleaning and pickling equipment, and piping.
  • There has long been a debate on whether Carpenter 20 is a stainless steel or a nickel alloy because the nickel content is right on the border of defining it as one way or the other. So, depending on who you talk to this alloy may be referred to as alloy 20 Stainless Steel or as a nickel alloy. Either way it is still great for corrosion resistance.

Nimonic Alloy

We are a foremost exporter and supplier of Nimonic Alloy based in Mumbai, Maharashtra. This nickel-chromium alloy has good mechanical properties and a good oxidation resistance at even high temperatures. Also known as Alloy 75 this product is commonly used in sheet metal fabrication. Other uses include in the manufacture of gas turbine engines, components of industrial furnaces and for heating treating of equipment.

Details :

  • Nimonic Alloy 75 (UNS N06075) is a nickel-chromium alloy with good mechanical properties and oxidation resistance at high temperatures.
  • Alloy 75 is most commonly used for sheet metal fabrications which require oxidation and scaling resistance together with medium strength at high operating temperatures.
  • Alloy 75 is also used in gas turbine engines, for components of industrial furnaces, for heat treating equipment and fixtures, and in nuclear engineering.Alloy 80A is a nickel-chromium alloy similar to alloy 75 but made precipitation hardenable by additions of aluminium and titanium.
  • Alloy 80A has good corrosion and oxidation resistance and high tensile and creep-rupture properties at temperatures to 815ºC (1500ºF).
  • Alloy 80a is used for gas-turbine components (blades, rings, discs), bolts, tube supports in nuclear generators, exhaust valves in internal combustion engines and has many other offshore/marine, automotive and electrical applications.
  • Alloys 254 / 254 SMO / 6 Mo is an austenitic stainless steel with a high molybdenum content. Coupled with Nickel and Copper this gives the alloy a good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion, especially in environments containing halide ions, e.g. chloride, bromide and fluoride solutions.254 SMO (UNS S31254) may offer a cost effective solution to Nickel and Titanium alloys in these environments.
