the main assembly of pump consists of a stator with a rotar mounted eccentrically. The rotar is fitted with two spring loaded diametrically opposed vanes, which move in and out of their slots, pressing against the inner surface of the stator. When the rotar revolves eccentrically these vanes sweep the air space, two times in a single revolution creating the vacuum. The main assembly is enclosed in a square box made from fine material capable of offering toughest resistance to corrosive intakes.
it is very compact but so simple in design that all repairs, in case of need, can be carried out easily without removing the main housing from its base plate and disturbing the alignment.
