Description 

Dennison Wax Pick is used for the evaluation ofsurface strength on Paper & Paperboard.Each Wax Pick isof hard resin non – oily type. Each box contains 8sticks of same number. It is simple, easy to use andinexpensive.

 

TECHNICAL METHOD FOR USE:

  • Waxes are heated and applied to surface of the sheet.
  • After cooling waxes are pulled from the surface of the shape.
  • Wax is used to check if it has pulled fibre of coating from the surface.
  • The highest value wax, which does not rapture the surface, is reported as the pick strength of the sheet
