A tent is a shelter consisting of sheets of fabric or other material draped over, attached to a frame of poles or attached to a supporting rope. While smaller tents may be free-standing or attached to the ground, large tents are usually anchored using guy ropes tied to stakes or tent pegs. First used as portable homes by nomadic peoples, tents are now more often used for recreational camping and temporary shelters.

Tents range in size from just big enough for one person to sleep in, up to huge circus tents capable of seating thousands of people. The bulk of this article is concerned with tents used for recreational camping which have sleeping space for one to ten people. Tents intended to be carried by backpackers are the smallest and lightest type and also used for military shelter purposes. Small tents may be sufficiently light that they can be carried for long distances on a touring bicycle, a boat, or when backpacking and are made from polyester and nylon woven with high tenacity yarns which can withstand severe weather conditions.

The Company has a team of highly qualified textile technicians and professionals having specialization in respective fields .
The Company is also an ISO 9001-2008 Certified Company.
The Company was the a pioneer in the domestic textile industry to introduce branding of its products in the year 1966. Their Consumer Fabrics marketed under the Brand name ELPAR became a pan India household name.
The Company was also the first to introduce Nylon Fabrics in India.
The company is a pioneer in the manufacture of Nylon/ Polyester/ Synthetic Technical Fabrics in India marketed as PARAGON SPECIALITY FABRICS which are supplied to various Defence Establishments and Industries since 1960s .

*Weaving synthetic fabrics deploying Water-jet Looms for weaving of fabrics, backed by
high speed warping machine and handlooms to create immediate swatch samples of
the fabrics designed.
*Processing of synthetic Fabrics (Bleaching , Dyeing Printing and Finishing ).
*Coating and Laminating fabrics with various finishes providing a complete range of
fabrics to meet specific needs.
*Testing synthetic fabrics for various parameters we have In-house Laboratory with certified calibrated equipments.
