The Brass Gate Valve is a standard gate valve, which can be used for a variety of applications. These brass gate valves are designed for starting/shutting off flow, are supplied from stock as 1 F x F BSP, although there are a number of other sizes available on request. The gate valves are used within fuel and water installations, and are suitable for use with diesel, oil and water. We has a wide selection of brass gate valves for your application. Gate valves are also called shut-off valves or sluice valves and are manually controlled valves for on/off flow control by rotating a hand wheel to lift or lower a wedge (also called disc) in the (non-obstruction) flow path. Due to their simple design, they are reliable and require little maintenance. The brass housing allows it to be used for water or other neutral liquid media. Due to gate valves requiring multiple turns of the hand wheel it closes/opens slow enough to prevent against a water hammer.

Brass Billets A billet is a length of metal that has a round or square cross-section, Billets are created directly via continuous casting. Billets are suitable for further processes via extrusion, rolling and drawing. Billets are also known as bar stock. Billets have a specific grain structure, which enables the metal to be processed more intricately. It is a semi-finished casting product that needs further processing before becoming finished goods. Quality inspection are aimed at checking, measuring & testing of the product produced to relate the results to the requirement to confirm compliance. This task is performed by our specialized quality personnel. Macro and Micro are the methods to test it, we are testing the Cast Billet by the same method regularly on random basis for the conformance of the soundness of the casting.
