Release Valve:A manual screw or button valve used to deflate the cuff by allowing air to escape.

Operating Instructions

Preparation:Select the appropriate cuff size for the patient's limb (arm vs. thigh). Ensure the cuff is smooth; wrinkles can cause skin damage.
Application:Wrap the cuff securely around the limb over a layer of soft, wrinkle-free padding to protect the skin.
Connection:Connect the tubing from the manual pump to the cuff inlet until it is securely fastened or "clicks".
Inflation:Close the release valve and operate the hand pump to reach the desired pressure. Standard medical practice suggests:
- Upper Extremity:250 mmHg or 5075 mmHg above systolic blood pressure.
- Lower Extremity:300350 mmHg or 75100 mmHg above systolic blood pressure.
