trichodemm viride is a naturally-occurring beneficial soil fungus that protects crops from several diseases caused by seed-bome and soil-bome fungal pathogens like rhizoctonia spp. Pythium spp. Fusarium spp. Altemaria spp. Etc. It is used as an effective seed dressing and soil treatment product to combat seed and soil borne fungal diseases.

method of application & dosage

• seed treatment:10 gm of formulation mix in 50 ml. Of water and applied on 1 kg of seed uniformly, shade drythe seeds for 20 to 30 minutes before sowing.
• nursery bed treatment:mix 50 gm of formulation in 10 it of water and drench nursery bed 1 sq meter at timeof seeding.
• seedling treatment:dissolve 100 gm of formulation in 10 it water and dip the roots of seedlings for 30-45min before transplanting.
• soil application: mix 1.0 kg with 50 kg fym and broadcast in one acre field before sowing.

storage condition

• store in a cool and dry place.

pseudomonas fluorescensis a common gram-negative, rod-shaped soil bacterium. It has remarkable biocontrol properties, protecting the plants against pathogens as well as some phytophagous nematodes.

• the bacteria colonize in the rhizosphere and induce systemic resistance in the host plant, resisting attack by the pathogens.

• the bacteria produce siderophores (pyochelin and pyoverdine) which scavenges most of the available iron compounds in the target site and making it unavailable to the pathogen. This ultimately prevents the growthand proliferation of fungal pathogens.
