trichodernm harzianum is a naturally-occurring beneficial soil fungus that protects crops from several diseases caused by seed-bome and soil-bome fungal pathogens like rh izocton ia spp. rytlrium spp. fusarium spp.altemaria spp. etc. it is used as an effective seed dressing and soil treatment product to combat seed and soil borne fungal diseases. t. harzianum colonizes maximum space and absorbs maximum nutrients available at the target site and thereby controls the pathogens by starving them for food and space. the hyphae of t richodemm grow fast around the pathogen and penetrate through it. the fungus derives nutrition from the target pathogen and multiply inside its body and eventually kill it. it produces antibiotics and toxic substances like glyotoxin. viridin and trichodermin which kills the fungal pathogens. t. izarzianumsecretes extracellular enzymes like cellulase. glucanase. chitinase which react with cell wall of the pathogenic fungi or bacteria and dissolve the same. product benifits it is ec o-friendly bi o-fungicide. it gives protection against a number of soil-bome / seed borne pathogens to crop in nursery beds and as well in field by action of myco-parasitism and antibiosis. it decomposes raw organic farm wastes, solubilizes soil phosphorus, reclaims adverse soils, promotes plant growth and protects soil eco-system. it increases the plants growth & vigour as well as built resistance in plants to drought and diseases it is compatible with organic manures and bio-fertilizers. target crop paddy, maize, pulses, sorghum, millets, vegetable crops, oil seeds, cotton, ginger, turmeric, cardamom, tea, coffee and fruits crop etc. target pathogen it is highly effective to control thepythiumspp., rhizoctonia spp., fusariumspp., sclerotiniaspp.macrophomina, cephalosporium sp., sclerotium rolfsii, phytophthorasp, and meloidogyne sp (root knot nematodes) method of application & dosage seed treatment:10g of formulation mix in 50 ml. of water and applied on 1 kg of seed uniformly, shade dry the seeds for 20 to 30 minutes before sowing. seedling treatment:dissolve 100 gm of formulation in 10 it water and dip the roots of seedlings for 30-45 min before transplanting. nursery bed treatment:mix 5og of formulation mix in 10 it of water and drench nursery bed 1 sq meter are at time of seeding. soil application:mix 2.5kg with 50 kg fym and broadcast in one hectare field before sowing. storage condition store in a cool and dry place.
