Horizontal Plate Filters

These are conventional design horizontal plate filters with a similar construction, but differ in the material of construction. Specially designed to handle corrosive liquids like HCL and other liquids with Low pH. All components are lined with polypropylene on suitable parent material. The product-feed pumps are also supplied in PP materials. The side & centre tie rods are made of Titanium.

This filter is exclusively available in the 18 diameter model. The special features of the PP plates assembly are that they are light weight and have fewer internal parts, which make it more convenient and less laborious in handling

Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter

The sophisticated design of Pharmalab Rotary Vacuum Drum Filter (RVDF)is user friendly as it reduces manual operation by providing automated slurry level maintenance in the trough, automated transfer of filtrate from vacuum tank and automatic cake discharge arrangement. The trough is provided with tilt arrangement to control the immersion, reduce dead time between the cake discharge and drum immersion for new cycle to start and increase drying time.

AUTOMATIC HORIZONTAL PLATE FILTER

The Auto Cake Discharge Filter is the latest addition to our existing range of filters. This filter is used where automatic cleaning of plates is required without opening the filter. Thus, the filter requires lesser change over-time.

In this type of filter, all the plates have an 80-micron wire-mesh screen welded to the top of the filter plate. These are rotated at the end of the process to automatically discharge the cake and make the assembly ready for the new filter aid bed. Also, a spray pipe is provided for feeding the cleaning liquid under pressure. This helps remove residual, if any, after the cake discharge. The filter can be sized for the required area of filtration.
