Leaf cups and plates are traditionally made by hand in Indian villages. These are commonly used for serving food at marriages, religious and social functions. The laborious craft can now be converted into a machine operation to make these containers in elegant shapes and sizes. Such cups and plates are made out of plant leaves of beautia, arecanut sheath, banana etc. These have good dimensional stability and are inexpensive, hygienic and biodegradable. The cups and plates are in large demand by hawkers, fast food restaurants, star-hotels, mass feeding and for prasadam in religious institutions.
The leaf cup machine is a simple pedal operated machine, manually operated with minimum power consumption. It requires 300 watts of electric power. It can also work without power by kerosene oil blow lamp. The leaves are washed and dried to retain their pliability and kept in a polythene bag to avoid drying before use. The leaves are placed on the lower die plate, the pedal is pressed down and released after a few seconds. All the operation like folding, trimming, pressing into shape and drying are done in a single operation by pressing the pedal lever. The leaf cup, subjected to heating at 150° C for 10 seconds gets it sterilized. This machine helps to prepare stronger, elegant and uniform cups and plates of different sizes from leaves and paper at a rate much faster than the conventional method of leaf-cup making. In case of flimsy leaves, another layer of leaf, paper or polythene may be used for reinforcement, the method is simple. No adhesives are needed.

Sisal fibre is an important raw material required for production of variety of ropes, cords, doormats, industrial matting and various articles like shopping bags, coaster wall hanger, pot hanger, table mats, and many other fancy articles. Extraction of sisal fibre is largely being done by retting process. The use of improved implements & techniques can add not only to quantitative production to a large extent but to the income of the artisans considerably. Fibre extraction on raspador machine is superior in quality in comparison to fibre obtained by ratting process & economically viable. In the normal operation Sisal leaves are split and left for rotting for about 10 days. This is a very slow process. In this machine the pulp is removed in few minutes and subsequently the fibre strands are wet only for an hour. Thus saving 8-9 days of production time. This enhances the production capacity. This machine is often coupled with an electric motor or an oil engine.

This is a Wood Splitting Machine that splits wood logs into desired sizes.
This incorporates Bicycle wheel supported by ball bearings and is useful in making primary strands which are subsequently used in making ropes using our other range of rope making machine.
These have been developed by using the basic scientific principles of combustion and heat transfer involving conduction, convection and radiation thus leading to fuel efficiency under both field and laboratory conditions. Thus fuel efficient wood burning stoves have established significant savings of fuel wood compared to traditional stoves and also provide added benefits of removing smoke from the cooking place and providing a clean and healthy environment around the stoves. Since more than 70 percent of rural house holds depend on fuel wood stoves and get their fuel by gathering and carrying as head loads, saving of fuel wood means reducing the human drudgery especially for women and children since they contribute around 70 percent of time for the fuel wood gathering and traveling over a long distance. This also avoids and reduces the pressure on deforestation & minimizes the emission of green house gases because of clean, complete and efficient combustion through reduced quantities of fuel consumption. Large number of demonstrations has been conducted and different types of fuel efficient stoves have been developed in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Pondichery, Maharashtra etc.
