PAECILOMYCES is a biological insecticide based on a selective strain of naturally- occurring entomopathogenic fungus Peacilomyces lilacinus. The product contains spores and mycelial fragments of P. lilacinus. Mode of ActionThe spore of the fungus act by infecting parasitizing and killing eggs, juveniles and young adults of most phytophagous nematode species. When the spore of Peacilomyces in contact with different stages of the nematodes they germinates and grow and proliferate through the nematodes eventually paralyzing the nematode leading to the death of the nematode. Method of ApplicationSoil Application: Mix Peacilomyces 10 liters or 12 kg. / ha to be mixed with organic fertilizer / well decomposed organic manure / field soil / any locally available agriculturally usable organic carrier and applied around the rhizosphere uniformly for existing crops in the field. The Peacilomyces can be incorporated into the soil either mechanically or through profuse watering the field. It can be incorporated in the fields as a pre-plant treatment, or at planting and emergence stage, or immediately after transplanting. Drip System: Mix Peacilomyces 10 liters or 12 kg/ hectare is to be mixed in 1000 liters of water and filter the contents well to separate out extraneous particle if any. After filtering with appropriate filters it can be incorporated into the soil though the drip irrigation system during the pre or post planting stage. The frequency of applications also depends on the nematodes population. In the case of high nematode population pressure, and in perennial crops, multiple applications are recommended.
Trichoderma is a biological fungicide containing the conidial spore and the mycelia fragments of the selective strain of antagonistic fungus, Trichoderma Viride. Mode of actionSubstracte competition: tricoderma controls pathogens by creating completion for substrates, nutrients and the like.Mycoparasitism: Trichoderma is a preventive biological (living fungicide that attacks disease- causing pathogen before they reach the root system, it grows fast and coils around the pathogens and penetrates through it and takes nutrients from the pathogens. The pathogen eventually dies and finally eliminated from the field.Antibiosis: it offers a long lasting control against the pathogen by secreting secondary metabolites which exhibit antibiosis effect on the pathogen. METHOID OF APPLICATIONGreen House patina mix of soil drench: suspend Trichoderma in sufficient water (1000 ml or 2000gm/100L) to achieve uniform application. Apply at the rate of 200 ml per cubic meter of greenhouse potting mix, soil or planting beds, media or substrate. For bulbs & ornamentals: Dip bulbs in Trichoderma suspension of 10 ml or 20 gm/ Liter prior to planting. Seed dressing: Trichoderma 6ml or 8 gm per kg of seed can be used along with the appropriate stickers/wetting agents to coat the seeds.Seedling treatment: Trichoderma 10 ml or 20 gm/l of water to be mixed. Dip the root of the seeding in to the solution for 30 min prior to planting. Over-dosing does not cause any harmful side effects. Drip system: Trichoderma can be applied through the low pressure watering nozzles such as fan nozzles or other watering systems after filtering the solution careful. Agitate to maintain suspension .for best effect, treat potting mix several days before it use for seeding or transplants.Soil application: The required quantity of tricoderma 3 liter. Or 4 kg/ha) with 1000 kg of organic fertilizer /field soil/top soil or any other agriculturally potent locally available organic carrier and mix it well and apply uniformly. In the case of high infestation, multiple applications are recommended.
A mixture of Rhizo bacterium with growth promotion and disease suppression potential organism produce growth hormones and inhibitory metabolite. An effective against pathogen fungi and nematodes
Use Mix 1 kg to 25 kg organic manure and apply minimum 1 kg per plant.Mix 1 kg to 100 liter water/organic slurry and apply at 5 liter to 10 liter per plant
Azospirillum: It is an associative type of Micro organism capable of colonizing the root surface of the plant. By establishing a symbiotic associationship, it helps the plants in getting the nutrient N (Nitrogen) from the atmosphere. It fixes the atmospheric nitrogen through the process of Biological Nitrogen Fixation and makes it available to the plants in an easily assimilable and utilizable form. Seed Treatment: Seed required for 1 hectare treated with Azospirillum by adopting either seed dipping or seed coating methods. Use of the respective inoculums properly and instant sowing of the inoculated seeds with minimal waiting period between treatment and sowing are necessary to overcome undue loss of viability between inoculation and sowing. Seedling Dipping: Azospirillum is mixed with sufficient quantity of water and field soil or organic fertilizer to form slurry and the seedling roots are immersed in the slurry for about 30 minutes so that the roots are well drenched with the slurry and the bacteria get attached to the roots. The seedlings are then either pricked or planted. In case enough organic fertilizer / field soil / form yard manure are not available, mixing Azospirillum with sufficient amount of water and then dipping the roots of the seedling can also be done. Soil Application: Application of Bio-Fertilizer mixed with organic carrier and placing / applying it near the rhizosphere at optimal temperature and that between 15 to 20 days after the crop emergence, has been found to be very effective. Bio-fertilizer and organic manure mixture has to be applied uniformly in the soil and blended well into the soil to get the best effect. Drip System: In places where drip irrigation system is in practice the liquid formulation of Azospirillum can be used 3 liters /ha in 500 liters of water. Tree Treatments :Azospirillum is mixed with water in required and specified rate and applied nearer the feeder root zone/ nearer the trunk following pan irrigation, drip irrigation and the like. The treatment is done 2 or 3 times a year. The dosage of Azospirillum varies according to varieties, their age, and period of the crop, size of the tree, trunk and also the canopy of the trees.Normally for fruit trees and ornamental trees, Azospirillum is applied near the root zone early in the season. The individual trees are treated with Azospirillum at the rate of 2 ml or 2 gm /liter of water and the application fluid is applied through irrigation system or directly in to the soil
Beauveria is a biological insecticide based on a selective strain of naturalitty- occurring entomopathogenic fungus Beauveria bassiana. Mode of ActionThe spore of the fungus when comes in contact with the cuticle (skin) of the target pest insect in germinates and grows directly through the spiracle in the cuticle into the inner body of the host. The fungus by taking nutrients from the insect proliferates and colonizes the entire insect and thus drains the insect of nutrients and the infected insects eventually dies. Method of ApplicationFoliar Spray (Borer & Cutworm): Mix Beauveria 3 liters or 4 kg. / ha in 500 liters of water (i.e., 6 ml or 8 gm per liter of water). The product should be sprayed on growing plants using hand. Ground or aerial equipment targeting the insects. The spray volume depends upon the crop canopy. Soil Application (for root grubs): Mix Beauveria 3 liters or 4 kg. / ha in 500 liters of water (i.e., 6 ml or 8 gm per liter of water). Beauveria can be sprinkled around the root zone and incorporated into the soil either mechanically or through profuse watering of the plant roots. Alternatively, at the recommended rate can be mixed with 1000 kgs of organic fertilizer or field soil and can be applied uniformly. Drip System: Beauveria can be mixed W 6ml or 8 gm/ liter of water.
