The cross slide has a clear travel of 2500mm vertically with a clear distance of 2800mm horizontally between 2 heads mounted on it.All the movements of the machine is been controlled by individual VFDs viz horizontal movement of the heads, vertical movement of the spindle, vertical movement of the cross-slide, horizontal movement of the table, rotational movement of the chuck giving precise RPM as required.All the gear boxes are Planetary gear boxes with precise ratios as per the requirement.

Vertical Turning Lathe Machine
  • The machine is 3000mm x 3000mm x 5000mm in lxbxh.
  • It contains 2 heads on the cross-slide containing a Planning Type Head and a Drilling Head(depends upon customers requirement)
  • The cross slide has a clear travel of 2500mm vertically with a clear distance of 2800mm horizontally between 2 heads mounted on it.
  • The square table shown in the picture can also move horizontally by 1500mm clear travel useful for offset machining of the job.
  • The round table basically acts as a chuck for the machine which has 3000mm O.D.
  • All the movements of the machine is been controlled by individual VFDs viz horizontal movement of the heads, vertical movement of the spindle, vertical movement of the cross-slide, horizontal movement of the table, rotational movement of the chuck giving precise RPM as required.
  • All the gear boxes are Planetary gear boxes with precise ratios as per the requirement.
  • Total weight of the machine is approx 40 tons.
