Air & Dirt Separators

Precision Air and Dirt Separator are designed to eliminate air and separate debris associated with any hydronic system. In removable type High Velocity air and dirt separator, a removable flanged type end cover is installed so that easy access for coalescing medium and dirt removal. Non removal type high velocity air and dirt separator are also manufactured. Air and dirt separator are designed and manufactured as per ASME section VIII Div 1 and registered with National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel inspectors. Material of construction will be carbon steel. Connections are flanged to Class 150, Class 300, PN16 or PN 25. External surface will be coated with red oxide primer and with one coat red enamel paint. Standard working pressure will be 10 bar. Designs up to 20 bar available on request.

Each air and dirt separator to be fixed with air vent. A tap is fitted on top of the removable cover (in removable type) and in body for non removable type to facilitate system fast fill and removal of floating impurities and air trapped within the air separator.

Application
Precision Air and Dirt Separator removes entrained air bubbles and dirt particles in the system. Small Air bubble coalesce and form larger air bubbles which rise to the top of the vessel and vented through the air vent. Dirt particles that are collected at the bottom of the separator can be removed through the blow down valve .In case of coalescing medium to be cleaned then top removable cover to be removed for access. Precision air & dirt separators provide higher efficiency with reduced pressure drops so a smaller pump can be used to achieve maximum efficiency.

PALL Ring Technology
Precision air and dirt separator use proven PALL ring technology. By using Pall Ring technology micro bubbles as small as 18 microns, and dirt particles of 35 microns can be removed. It removes air from place where air vent cannot be installed and also it removes and separates solid particles. Pall Rings are kept in a stainless steel basket which can be removed from the top flange of removable type air and dirt separator. Pall rings are made of Stainless steel 304 material. Air bubbles are separated by the pall ring through coalescene process where dirt particles are caught and drifted to the bottom of the tank, further removed through blowdown valve.

Typical Specifications
Furnish and install, as shown on plans, a removable / non removable type Air and Dirt separator. The unit shall have flanged inlet and outlet connections to the vessel. A vent connection shall be fitted to the top of the vessel to enable installation of Airvent. Air and Dirt separators shall have all steel body construction designed fabricated and stamped as per ASME Section VIII Div I with a working pressure of 10 bar. Each Air & Dirt Separator to be fitted with a blow off tap to remove the air trapped within the separator. Air and Dirt Separator shall use high surface area pall rings made of stainless steel 304 to separate air and dirt with minimal pressure drop. Removable type Air and Dirt separator shall have removable upper head for removal, inspection and cleaning of the pall ring basket.

Expansion Tank

Expansion tanks are used in a closed loop heating or chilled water HVSC system to absorb the expanding water and to control the pressure in the system. Expansion tanks are fitted with a replaceable type heavy duty butyl bladder which absorbs the expanded water thus avoiding direct water contact with the metal tank.

Chilled Water Buffer Tank

Chillers are designed to operate with a minimum water volume, which typically ranges from 22 litre to 38 litres per ton for air conditioning application, for to get better temperature accuracy. Most of the chiller compressors can only start 3 to 4 times per hour. If the compressor is off and if there is a demand for chilled water the compressor cannot get on immediately. Without chilled water, building will not get the required cooling. To solve this problem chilled water buffer vessels are added in the system. These tanks increase the capacity of the chilled water in the system and stabilize the return.

The external lubricant reduces the frictional heat & therefore reduces this mechanism. As the material passes further down the extruder barrel the temperature increases which reduces the bond strength between the molecules within the primary particles. Ultimately a homogeneous mass of molten plastics form.

Gas Fired Water Heaters

Fabricated Basket Strainers

Fabricated simplex basket strainer are generally made of steel. These strainers can be made in materials like carbon steel or stainless steel based on project requirements. Process
We use Linear Low Density polyethylene (LLDPE) raw material with density 0.932 to 0.936 mm per cubic cm and MFI range from 3 to 6 per 10 minutes. Raw material that we use has good mechanical strength, high environmental strength , crack resistance, material stability over a wide range of temperate and cycle time. The resin will have a fast and broad cure cycle, provide shrinkage from part to part and exhibit good wrap resistance.

Additives:
The LLDPE granules in its original form cannot be process for tank manufacturing in rotational molding. It has to be converted in to color granules. This coloring is takes place with addition of color concentrate during extrusion process. Base raw material is LD. Loading of Colorant If black the percentage of carbon (at least 50%). If Milky white then percentage of titanium. 'Carbon' in black master batch act UV stabilizer therefore it will be added to the level of 2 to 3 % of LLDPE. Other wise tank life during expose to sunlight will be less and tank may develop crack.

High Capacity Electric Water Heaters

Electric calorifiers are one of the easiest method of generating hot water for both domestic and industrial applications. Electric calorifiers are installed in hospitals, hotels, Sports Centres and General Residential Buildings.

Standards
ASME Code construction:- All tanks are constructed in accordance with ASME code section IV Stamped and labeled for 125 PSI (8.6 BAR) as Standard. Precision also design electric calorifiers as per British Standard BS 853:1996, BS 5500:1997 or in accordance with Art 3.3 of the European Directive EEC/97/23 for pressure equipment.

Replaceable Type
The elements on this type of immersion heater can be changed only after draining contents in the water heater.

Removable Core Type
Failed elements can be changed without draining the calorifier or removing the immersion heater from the shell. This saves time in changing the defective elements and with less down time. By this we can save the heated water without draining it.

Indirect Heated Storage Tank

Indirect Heated Storage calorifiers are one of the easiest method of generating hot water for both domestic and industrial applications. Storage calorifiers are installed in hospitals, hotels, sports centers and general residential buildings. PRECISION Calorifiers can be used in sites where a dedicated plant producing steam for laundry or hot water boiler is available.

Storage calorifers are sized to meet the peak demand period with recovery periods varying from one to four hours.

For steam and condensate the battery is a simple 2-pass U-tube battery. Heater batteries are constructed from finned tube. This extended surface reduces the overall size of the battery. Plain tube can be supplied and should be specified at the enquiry or order stage so that provision is made for fitting the larger battery. Plain tube will be recommended when the operating conditions are known to make it advisable.
