The Lab Beater is used for beating pulp and as a defibration unit for incompletely digested fibrous materials. 

Beater Pressure: Variable through weight lever arm equipped with two standards brass level. The beating pressure is obtained by mean of the load applied by a lever that press the roll against the wall of the beater housing.Pressure applied is to be 240g/mm(19 lb/inche) of bar lenght, 17 Kg(37.4lb) total bar pressure. Beating Roll :The roll has 33 bars each 50mm (1.97 in) long 5mm (0.2 in) wide. The Bar are spaced uniformly about the circumference of the roll and parallel to the roll axis.The diameter of the roll measured across the bar is 200mm.
