The Presto salt spray chamber is the most reliable equipment for checking the corrosion resistance of surface coatings when exposed to a salt laden environment. This time-tested product has been specifically designed to assess the rust-proof ability of components to withstand corrosion due to atmospheric conditions. It provides complete flexibility in simulation of real life weathering conditions. The test temperature in the chamber is user adjustable from ambient to +45C and is controlled by a PLC controlled PID. The touch screen installed in the Presto salt spray chamber is a powerful tool that eases the analysis of corrosion resistance for a wide variety of sample types. A special zero corrosion PT 100 sensor is incorporated in the touch screen. It also has 8 function keys, a 3M flash memory and provides a USB host for a USB flash drive. The Presto salt spray chamber is double walled and is fitted with a glass wool insulation, which ensures that the results are accurate and reliable enough to meet the international standard of testing. The chamber incorporates the latest technology including an Air Flow Meter which regulates the air flow from 0 to 30 psi. It is also equipped with an air jacket heating system which ensures uniformity and reliability.

Presto Perspirometer is used for determining the resistance of color, of all kinds and forms textiles, to the action of human perspiration. Color Fastness of dyed or printed fabrics against perspiration is determined by exposing the fabric sample to the action of both alkaline and acidic reagents, while in contact with un-dyed adjacent fabrics, placed between plastic plates under a fixed load inside an oven. To test colour fastness to perspiration, specimens (fabric, yarn or fibre) in contact with Multi-fibre Adjacent Fabric, are treated in two different solutions containing histidine, one alkaline and one acidic. The Perspirometer applies a specified pressure to a package of test specimens separated by acrylic or glass plates. The spring loaded mechanism ensures that the correct pressure is maintained when the loading Weight is removed. Two loading weights are available to accommodate the requirements of the ISO and AATCC test methods. Manufactured from high grade stainless steel.
