Applications:

Optical carbon dioxide sensor based on the colorimetric change of pH indicator a-naphtholphthalein with the internal reference fluorescent CIS/ZnS qua.It is also used in the designing of optical carbon dioxide sensor based on fluorescence intensity.a-Naphtholphthalein has been described for use in the design of an optical CO2 sensor based on the fluorescence intensity changes of Tetraphenylporphyrin (sc-215304) due to absorption changes of alpha-Naphtholphthalein embedded in a polymer.
