    Molecular Sieve 13X AP Grade is an alkali alumino silicate. It is the sodium form of the molecular sieve type X and has an effective pore opening of about 9 angstroms (0.9 nm).
    Typical Chemical Formula : Na2O Al2O3 2.5 SiO2 nH2O
    Applications :
    Molecular Sieves13X AP Grade is commonly used for the following applications :

    • Concurrent removal of H2O and CO2 from gas and air streams, removal of H2S and mercaptans from liquids and hydrocarbon fractions, sweetening of natural gas containing H2S, mercaptans & thiophenes, separation of heavy hydrocarbons from natural gas and air, separation of N2 from O2, catalyst bed protection; Static (non regenerative) removal of water and solvent vapours from the inner space of insulating glass units.
    • Molecular Sieve 13X AP Grade will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 0.9 nm and exclude those larger.

    Regeneration : Molecular Sieve 13X AP Grade can be regenerated by evacuating or purging, usually at elevated temperatures. The purge gas temperature must be sufficiently high to bring the molecular sieve to a level of 200oC to 300oC, but not exceeding 600oC. Higher temperatures may cause physical degradation of the molecular sieve structure. The degree of regeneration depends on the temperature, pressure and composition of the purge gas and is a strong factor in affecting product purity. It is possible to dry fluids to less than 0.1 ppm H2O and purity to less than 1 ppm total sulphur and CO2, if adequately regenerated.
    Shipping Information : Molecular Sieve 13X AP Grade is available in 140 Kg Air Tight Steel Drum Sealed with inner Liner (Polyethylene) for Extra Protection.
