Anastrozole is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor used primarily in the treatment of hormone receptor-positive breast cancer in postmenopausal women. It works by reducing estrogen levels in the body, slowing or stopping the growth of certain types of breast tumors that require estrogen to grow.

1mg of Anastrozole per tablet

Anastrozole selectively inhibits the enzyme aromatase, which converts androgens to estrogens. By lowering estrogen levels, it deprives hormone-dependent breast cancer cells of their growth stimulus.

• Hot flashes

• Osteoporosis or bone thinning

• Nausea

• Headache

• Not recommended for premenopausal women

• Use with caution in patients with osteoporosis or low bone mineral density

• Regular monitoring of bone health is advised
