Contact Supplier304 / 304L stainless steel are the most versatile and most used of all the stainless steel grades, especiallly for angles. 304 / 304L Angles offer high corrosion resistance, high strength, temperature resistance and a smooth surface that is easy to clean and withstand repeated sanitizing and sterilization. It is easy to machine, stamp, fabricate and weld to exacting tolerances. It is a high performance, low-cost material.
316 / 316L Stainless Steel Angles contain higher levels of molybdenum and nickel than 304 alloys, which improve corrosion & pitting resistance in more aggressive environments. Used often for angles, 316 / 316L alloys provide better resistance to chloride-containing media, salt water and acidic chemical environments such as sulfuric acid compounds.
Applications
304 / 304L Stainless Steel Angle is used as structural support for tanks, enclosures, cabinets and bulkheads and for braces and framework in the marine, tank, chemical, petrochemical and food processing industries.
