2-Way Line, Plug Diverter Valve

This type of valve utilizes a machined housing and end plates and an internal “plug” (typically aluminum due to weight considerations) with two machined, stainless steel ports. The seal between the housing and plug is typically Polyurethane and is not in the material flow path. While the design and construction of this valve is far superior to any of the valves mentioned, but the high cost associated with this type of valve limits its use except for extreme conditions (e.g., dense phase conveying, highly degradable material, etc.).

Polyurethane seal (FDA Approved) guarantees the seal between the housing and plug
Rated for pressure up to 44 PSIG
Double acting air cylinder integrated into the housing
Single solenoid air control valve
Two (2) proximity type proof switches
Lifetime sealed and lubricated ball bearings with eccentric locking collar
ANSI 150# flanged line connections
Factory pre-wiring of solenoid valve and proof switches to terminal box mounted on the valve
