What is 3PE coated steel pipe？

3PE, we also called 3LPE. 3PE coated steel pipe is one kind of coating method which used in carbon steel pipe. No matter it is a seamless steel pipe of welded steel pipe, stainless steel pipe or alloy steel pipe, nickel alloy pipes or CRA clad or lined pipe, it can do 3PE coating for the pipes.

The 3PE Coating Steel Pipe enjoys good impact resistance, abrasive resistance, shock resistance, acid resistance, high quality, and long service life.

3PE coating steel pipe is short for “three-layer structure polyethylene anticorrosion coating steel pipe”.

There are three layers in this steel pipe coating structure:
· The first one: Epoxy layer
· The second one: Adhesive layer
· The third one: Polyethylene layer
