4-20MA Filter

The 420 milliamp filter is normally used for one of the following applications :

• The 4-20 milliamp signal is the output of a transducer which is sensing an erratic media such as turbulent flow or pressure from a positive displacement pump.
• The signal run is lengthy and has 60 Hz or other noise superimposed on the signal. In either case, this unit will convert a noisy signal to a clean signal.
• If you have a load cell on equipment with moving parts, the vibration sometimes causes the load cell to have an erratic or noisy output. In applications like these, this device will provide a clean output signal which is representative of the average input signal.
