Three Phase AC Brake Motors

Three phase AC Brake motors offered by Amber consist of AC Electromagnetic Fail Safe Brake Unit mounted on the non-drive end of the motor and coupled directly to the shaft of the motor. The brake in these motors will apply whenever the power to the brake is cut off. These motors are availed with or without cooling fan based on the application and requirement.
Application of AC Three phase brake motors are in lifts, hoists, conveyors and other applications where the frequency of switching the brake On-Off is very low. The major care to take while operating these motors is to check that power to motor and brake are cut off simultaneously otherwise the motor or brake may get damaged.
