The FMACSC-80TR-R407C air-cooled chiller provides 80 TR (280 kW) of cooling capacity through a single refrigeration circuit. Electrical supply requirement is 400 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, with an installed load of 70.25 kW and a rated current of 114.8 A. Refrigeration is based on R407C, controlled by a thermostatic expansion valve, operating at 7°C evaporation and 50°C condensation, and suitable for ambient temperatures up to 45°C. Chilled water temperature is regulated within +10°C to +20°C.
Chilled water flow is 6000 LPH at a 35°C temperature differential. Heat rejection is performed by an air-cooled condenser with copper tubes and aluminum fins, supported by four axial suction fans of 28-inch diameter. Each fan is rated at 0.65 kW, producing a combined airflow of 30,720 CFM, mounted on a galvanized steel structure.
Compression duty is handled by one semi-hermetic screw compressor manufactured by Bitzer, rated at 63.9 kW with a current draw of 105.4 A at 50 Hz. Motor starting is via star–delta, while step capacity regulation from 0% to 100% ensures stable performance under varying load conditions.
Cooling exchange is achieved through a shell-and-tube evaporator featuring a powder-coated carbon steel shell, inner-grooved copper tubes, and SS-304 TIG-welded baffles and headers. The assembly is designed for 10 bar working pressure and hydrostatically tested at 15 bar, with 3-inch BSP chilled water connections. Heat ingress is limited using 40 mm closed-cell PUF insulation.
A factory-integrated circulation pump rated at 3.75 kW (5 HP) delivers 50,000 LPH against a head of 2.33 kg/cm². Condenser-side refrigerant piping is 3/8 inch. Safety coverage includes high/low pressure protection, motor overload, phase reversal monitoring, flow interlock, anti-freeze logic, discharge temperature cut-out, internal thermostat, and low water level protection.
Control and monitoring are provided through a factory-assembled electrical panel comprising MCBs, contactors, overload relays, timers, PLC, and HMI, fully wired and tested prior to dispatch. Overall dimensions and GA drawings shall be submitted after order confirmation.
