901 radar level meter is one type of high frequency level meter. This series of radar level meter adopted 26G high frequency radar sensor, the maximum measurement range can reach up to 10 meters. The sensor material is PTFE, so it could work well in corrosive tank, such as acid or alkaline liquid. Radar Level Meter Working Principle: An extremely small 26GHz radar signal emitted in short pulse form from the antenna end of the radar level gauge. The radar pulse is reflected by the sensor environment and the surface of the object and is received by the antenna as a radar echo. The rotation period of the radar pulse from emission to reception is proportional to the distance.
